Manages contact lens services. Takes patient histories, administers tests and evaluations, takes eye measurements for the purpose of diagnosis and performs related clinical support.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Completion of an approved training program for Ophthalmology Technician or Ophthalmology Assistat.Licensure/Certication/Registration: COA OR Certied Ophthalmology Technician (COT) or Certied Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT). BLS Certication with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or client or Military Training NetworkPosition Urgency:NormalShifts:daysState License Details:Must Be Currently ActiveMinimum Years of Experience:Less than 1 yearMinimum Guaranteed Hours:36Specialty Type:Audiology and OphthalmologySub Specialty:Ophthalmic TechnicianBilingual:NoEMR Used:MeditechHoliday Coverage Required:No
