Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for a Dispatcher (delivery coordinator) in Bethlehem PA. Position is temp to perm with potential to convert to permanent after 3 months of good performance.Starting Pay: 18.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experienceSchedule: Monday thru Friday, 7AM - 4:30PM with an optional 30 min lunch. This office-based role ensures that customer orders are processed accurately, trucks are routed efficiently, documentation is completed, and communication flows smoothly across teams and customers. This is an excellent fit for someone with dispatching, trucking route coordination, or delivery logistics experience who enjoys working independently in a structured environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder & Document ManagementWork daily with Excel-based reports to verify placed orders and completed documentationEnsure all required shipping documents are signed and properly filedUpdate Oracle systems, shipping notes, and related order dataRouting & Dispatch CoordinationCreate, modify, and maintain truck routesReschedule deliveries as needed when changes ariseRoute trucks efficiently to balance workload and control costsProvide ETA updates and next-day delivery schedulesPrint bills of lading, create trip sheets, and run open-order reportsCommunication & Customer SupportEmail delivery notifications to internal teams and customersCommunicate with Sales, Order Processing, Delivery Drivers, and 3rd-party carriersPre-call customers when neededProvide customer service for internal and external partnersPlace service calls and provide time-frame authorizationsSystems & ToolsEnter updates in Oracle, including CC/DFF notes and ship confirmationsNavigate Descartes and Kofax (experience is a plus)Maintain delivery system updates, shipping data, insurance requests, and marketplace notificationsGeneralProvide backup support for the Sr. Dispatcher when neededPerform other administrative/logistics duties as assignedQualifications1+ year of dispatch, routing coordination, customer service, or logistics experienceProficient with Excel, Outlook, and general PC skillsExperience with Oracle, Descartes, or Kofax is a strong plusStrong multitasking and organizational skillsComfortable working independently in an office/cubicle environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 10 lbs. (files, papers, small parts)
