They repair damaged properties When emergencies arise from broken pipes or severe storms, people turn to us for help. Brief Description: The Restoration Specialist serves as a first responder to property loss events, working to mitigate damage in both residential and commercial buildings. Key responsibilities include water damage mitigation, structural board-up, on-site cleaning, microbial remediation, content handling, and secure storage. Responsibilities: Water extraction and mitigation Fire and smoke damage cleaning and restoration Microbial remediation Crime scene, vandalism, and biohazard clean-up Demolition (Demo Day) Field management and supervision of temporary labor personnel Providing exceptional customer service with empathy Performing all other duties or projects as assigned Qualifications: Valid driver's license required Ability to pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report Pass a pre-employment drug screening Must be available for on-call 24/7 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL JOB DEMANDS: The work environment may present scenarios typical of restoration projects. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet. The physical demands of this job include the occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds. Regular tasks require sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching, talking, and hearing, along with routine movement around the office. TRAVEL: Occasional travel (less than 25% of the time) may be required for training or meetings, including some out-of-area and overnight travel. COMPENSATION: BluSky offers a competitive hourly pay range of $25 - $28 along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, necessary work equipment, and a corporate apparel allowance.
