Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity near Chesterhill, Ohio We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in southeast Ohio, near Chesterhill. The position is ideal for physicians who can commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per month and are available for night and weekend shifts. Job Details: Position Type : Locum Tenens - Emergency Medicine Location : Near Chesterhill, OH Shifts : Primarily 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. with a focus on nights and weekends Shift Requirements : 5+ shifts per month Weekend Requirements : Yes On-Call Requirements : Not applicable Estimated Volume : 20,000 patients annually Bed Count : 11 beds in the emergency department Trauma Level : None Fast Track : Yes, available in the emergency department Responsibilities : Oversee APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) Write orders for admissions Work closely with consultants including radiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, and oncologists Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population Requirements : Ohio State Medical License (required) Board Certification : Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine through ABMS/AOA (double board certification accepted) Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience required Certifications : NRP required COVID Vaccination : Required Malpractice insurance must be included in the hourly rate Additional Details : EMR system: All Scripts/Paragon Travel arrangements must be booked through the designated provider Medical staff fees reimbursed after completing the first shift Potential for long-term opportunities if desired If you are looking for a flexible locum tenens opportunity in emergency medicine, this could be the perfect fit.
