OverviewWe're seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our infusion and pharmacy services team. This role is critical to ensuring revenue integrity through accurate billing, auditing, and claims processing. You'll collaborate with multiple departments to resolve billing issues and improve charge capture processes while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Day-to-DayAudit, monitor, and analyze complex dispensing and charging information to ensure revenue integrityAdjudicate infusion and related claims for health insurance benefits and Medicare Part D coverageCollaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and implement process improvementsReview and validate charge capture processes for accuracy and complianceMaintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding claimsCommunicate with payers and internal stakeholders to address discrepancies and expedite resolutionsRequired QualificationsActive Pharmacy Technician LicenseMinimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or pharmacy billing, collections, or medical claims processing2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a specialty setting (e.g., Long-Term Care, Infusion, Specialty Pharmacy) OR 3 years in an outpatient pharmacy settingProficiency in data entry and computer systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with infusion billing and specialty pharmacy workflowsFamiliarity with Medicare Part D and commercial insurance adjudicationWhat Makes This Role Stand Out?Opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environmentDirect impact on revenue integrity and patient carePathway to permanent employment after contract period$24- $27 per hourExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
