A specialty practice in New Jersey is actively seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join their Pediatric Neurology staff primarily in New Jersey with flexibility to travel to the Westchester and Manhattan offices a few times per month.About the OpportunitySetting: Inpatient and OutpatientSpecialty: Pediatric Neurology/EpilepsySchedule: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call: optional call with differentialResponsibilitiesThe Family Nurse Practitioner will:Perform complete history and physical examinations on patients within the outpatient clinic and the medical centersClearly discriminate between abnormal and normal findings when evaluating the history, physical examination, and laboratory testsIdentify patient problems and develop further treatment plans and modalities in concert with the supervising physician Make complete entries in the EMR utilizing evidence-based practiceQualificationsRecent graduates are encouraged to applyActive New Jersey State Family Nurse Practitioner license DEACDSComputer literacy and familiarity with EMR chartingDesired skillsNeuroscience Nursing and Critical Care experience
