A state of the art 25-bed critical access hospital in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado near Steamboat Springs is seeking a BE/BC General Surgery Physician to join their staff in a part-time capacity. The practice has long supported two general surgeons who practice 24 - 32 hours per week and currently work 3 weeks per month.Their current surgeon is flexible on modifying his work schedule to accommodate the right cultural fit for the hospital system.The Opportunity:• The hospital currently supports two surgeons who each work 3 weeks per month (12 weeks' vacation per year)• 2 days of clinic and 2 days of surgery per week - Estimated Hours - 24 Hours per week of clinical care when not on call and 32 hours per week total when on call• Low Volume Call Responsibilities 3 - 5 ED Consults per week and 1 - 2 emergent surgeries per week• 4 Day Work Week• Full benefits including 6 weeks PTO and $7,500 for CME• EPIC EMRThe Community:• Located a quick drive, 40 minute drive from beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO; the practice location has great access to the outdoors with a regional airport just 20 minute away.• An outdoorsman's dream - Enjoy all that Colorado has to offer with the world's best hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting, and rafting nearby.• Enjoy the Colorado Lifestyle without the Denver Cost of Living: Housing costs are 50% cheaper than in nearby Steamboat Springs.For more info, please contact:Name: Bennett DorionDirect:Cell/Text:
