Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionJob Title: Fleet Mechanic Morning Shift (2a Start)We are seeking an Experienced Gas/Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our delivery fleet, which includes Sprinters, Isuzu Reach, W700's, Ford Transits and Cargo Vans. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.Also, learn about EV maintenance as EV's are added to the FleetResponsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on delivery fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on fleet vehicles, including diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems- Conduct thorough inspections of fleet vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fleet vehicles- Communicate with management and drivers to ensure that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy- Maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 4-years of experience as a diesel mechanic or fleet mechanic- Experience working with Sprinters, Isuzu Reach, W700's, and Ford Transits- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and accurately- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills- Must have own tools- Valid driver's license and clean driving recordWe offer a well-appointed mechanic work area and a supportive team environment.
