You would be joining a collegial group with great support and resources to provide the best care for the pediatric population we serve. Practice: Wide range of procedures in our modern Endoscopy labClose collaboration with Pathology, Radiology, Pediatric Surgery, Child life specialists, nutrition support, Speech Pathology and Pediatric psychologistsWell-established Telemedicine practice with the opportunity to do outreachOpportunities for Clinical researchA collegial work environment with a variety of multidisciplinary niche clinics. i.e. Neuro development clinic, Cystic Fibrosis ClinicTeaching opportunities- Western campus for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health8 BC Adult Gastroenterologists to collaborate with and assist with advanced therapeutic proceduresThe Department of Pediatrics consists of 6 pediatric hospitalists, approximately 20 general pediatric providers (includes physicians and NP s), 3 NICU physicians, and 3 PICU physicians. Gundersen Health System has over 13 specialty areas that care for children. Housed within our pediatric specialties department is allergy/asthma/immunology, cardiology, endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, genetics, learning and development, and child life.
