Pharmacy Technician I We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will assist the pharmacist in preparing and delivering medications while ensuring exceptional customer service for every client interaction. You'll help maintain accurate prescription records, organize inventory, and contribute to a seamless pharmacy operation. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who depend on timely, safe, and respectful pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities: Complete required Basic and Advanced Technician online training modules via Computer Rx Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone Receive new prescriptions and refill requests, gathering necessary patient information Accurately enter and update prescription data in the system Assist pharmacists in counting, pouring, labeling, and pricing medications Maintain inventory by stocking supplies and organizing shelves Prepare and submit insurance claims; verify payment accuracy Register new customers and ensure HIPAA compliance Guide customers in locating over-the-counter medications Perform routine housekeeping within the pharmacy department Make deliveries and accept payments when necessary Contribute to ongoing staff development and quality improvement efforts Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to follow pharmacy laws, protocols, and HIPAA regulations Comfortable using computers and pharmacy software systems Experience and Education Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid pharmacy technician license in good standing OR application for licensure submitted Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred Supervisory Requirements: None Brightli is on a mission: A mission to improve client care, reduce the financial burden of community mental health centers by sharing resources, a mission to have a larger voice in advocacy to increase access to mental health and substance user care in our communities, and a mission to evolve the behavioral health industry to better meet the needs of our clients.
