Job Description We are seeking an Automotive Service Technician who will report to the Store and Service Managers. You will be responsible for performing both basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks. Your role will include inspecting vehicles for potential issues and troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Utilizing your in-depth automotive repair knowledge. Delivering the highest quality of service to our valued customers. Diagnosing and analyzing mechanical issues effectively. Inspecting, replacing, and repairing defective parts while performing preventative maintenance. Staying informed about new technical information and techniques as automotive technology evolves. Exhibiting behaviors aligned with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions. Complying with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: A minimum of 2 years' experience in automotive service, mechanic work, and engine diagnostics. ASE Certification is preferred but not mandatory. Possession of Technician Tools. A valid driver's license. Ability to operate and drive vehicles. Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug test and background screening. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term trust and relationships. Must be available to work on Saturdays. Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for prolonged periods. Occasionally exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force, and frequently 10 - 25 lbs of force. Working at a production pace that may involve constant pushing or pulling of materials.
