We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for an exciting locum tenens assignment near Buena Vista, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to provide vital services in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital environment, delivering exceptional care to adult patients. Position Highlights Type of Coverage: 24-hour call coverage with call-back requirements (20-minute response time). Schedule: Flexible dates available from January through May 2025. Patient Demographics: Primarily adult patients with a focus on general urology cases. Case Volume: Approximately 2-5 call-ins within a 24-hour period, addressing kidney stones, bread-and-butter urology, and more. Technology: Access to advanced surgical robotics, including three Da Vinci Xi systems. Charting Systems: eCW and MediTech EMR platforms. Requirements Active Virginia Medical License and DEA certification. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology. BLS and PALS certifications. Recent experience: At least 200 cases within the last two years (case logs required). Strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a busy hospital setting. Why Consider This Opportunity?
