80 miles to Tallahassee & Columbus180 miles to Atlanta200 miles to Jacksonville220 miles to SavannahInpatient Faculty NocturnistInpatient Faculty NocturnistFamily Medicine Residency Program has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for both aspiring and experienced educators, as an Academic Nocturnist/Hospitalist.Responsibilities:Serve as an attending physician, supervising residents and medical students.Lecture, teach and mentor trainees in hospital medicine, evidence-based practices, scholarly activity, and patient management. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance patient care and education.Participate in residency and hospital committees, and quality improvement initiatives.Assist with resident recruitment, including interviewing candidates.Closed ICU - covered by intensivists.Schedule:2 weeks per month (14 days).
