A recognized healthcare network in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Pediatric Cardiologist to join their growing team. In this role, thePediatric Cardiologist will be responsible for assessing and diagnosingcongenital and acquired heart conditions in pediatric patients.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 8am to 5:30pmSetting: InpatientResponsibilities:The Pediatric Cardiologist will:Develop and implement treatment plans for children with heart conditions, considering the unique physiological and developmental aspects of pediatric patientsPrescribe and manage medications to control symptoms and improve cardiac function in pediatric patientsPerform or assist in interventional procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, to address certain cardiac abnormalities without the need for surgeryWork closely with Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons to plan and coordinate surgical interventions, when necessaryEducate patients and their families about the nature of the heart condition, treatment options, and the importance of follow-up careMonitor patients during follow-up visits to assess their progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and address any emerging issuesEngage in research activities to advance the field of pediatric cardiologyProvide education and training to medical students, residents, and fellowsProvide emergency care and consultation for pediatric patients with acute cardiac issuesPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice in the State of New JerseyBoard Certified in Pediatric CardiologyTransthoracic Echocardiograms experienceDesired Skills:Fetal Echocardiograms experienceYour privacy is important to us.
