Heart, Mind, Body LLC is on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges. In this role, you will conduct individual and group therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to clients as they navigate their mental health journeys. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients. Provide individual and group counseling in various therapeutic modalities. Facilitate workshops and support groups to promote mental health awareness. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health records. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Educate clients and families about mental health issues and resources. Requirements Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent. Experience in counseling or mental health services preferred. Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to ethical standards and continuous professional development. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Prior experience with diverse populations and cultural competence. First Aid/CPR training is a plus. Benefits Heart, Mind, Body LLC is the perfect fit for a talk therapist that is looking to grow their own clientele but do not want the work of marketing, credentialing and scheduling clients. It leaves the clinician free to tell us what hours they want to fill, full-time, part-time or per-diem. We provide the marketing, EMR, billing and send you your payments on the first and 16th day of the month. We also provide mentoring, if needed. As the founder of Heart, Mind, Body LLC, my previous role in healthcare for 35 years was that of a nurse executive. I bring my experience to you clinically and as a business executive. We want to simplify things so that you can concentrate on seeing clients and building a satisfactory relationship with them.
