Job Description:Client has many legacy applications, and we are working to re-architect them into a more modern, sustainable platform. These applications are essential to the day-to-day operations of the department. Many of these systems were built over 20 years ago and need to be updated. This Project tracking system is the first modernization effort and when successful we will move on to others. Client is looking for an architect to assist us with analysis of an existing system (homegrown Project tracking system) which is written in (ASP.NET/C#, WCF/Oracle) and provide recommendations to improve maintainability, scalability and performance. This resource will also lead development effort to execute the recommendations while also providing enhancements/bug fixes to the existing production system.
