Sign-On Bonuses: $10,000 for eligible new hires with relocation assistance and $2,000 specifically for evening shifts. Schedule Details: This full-time position includes evening shifts, 8 or 10 hours, Monday through Friday with call duties (predominantly overnight) and occasional weekend responsibilities. You'll be expected to arrive within 30 minutes during on-call times. Major Responsibilities: Ensure a clean, safe surgical environment and implement aseptic techniques for optimal patient care. Assist with various surgical procedures, understanding the needs of the surgical team. Prepare and organize surgical areas, handling equipment and instruments with care. Function as a Second Assistant when necessary, helping to maintain a sterile field. Alert staff to any equipment or supply issues promptly. Transport patients and equipment safely while adhering to operational standards. Maintain specialty carts and ensure all items are complete and in working order. Exhibit knowledge of patient care based on age-specific needs and demonstrate growth and development principles. Licensure and Education Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months; completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Experience: No experience required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiarity with aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service. Basic computer skills are necessary. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle a fast-paced and stressful work environment, perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and transporting patients or equipment. Must be prepared to use personal protective equipment and comply with safety standards. This position allows you to play a crucial role in patient care and to become part of a dedicated team.
