Originally founded in New Jersey, we've expanded nationwide with over 350 employees and 15 offices.We proudly serve Fortune 500 companies as well as independent owners and developers of all sizes, offering a comprehensive consulting experience that integrates expertise in design and permitting for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.At Dynamic, we foster a rewarding workplace, investing in our employees with industry-leading training programs that pave the way for growth and advancement.OverviewThe Senior CAD Designer is responsible for the AutoCAD drafting of the land development plan sets for various types of retail, commercial, industrial and residential site projects throughout regions where we do business.Responsibilities• Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings, ensuring they meet company and industry standards and codes.• Draft Land Development Plans, Zoning Plans, Concept Plans and Construction Documents.• Draft Site Plan Renderings for Municipal Presentations.• Work closely with Engineers, Designers and other Drafters to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.• Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy.• Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information.• Utilize 3rd party applications like AutoTURN and AGI32 to generate drawings based on specific project requirements.• Ability to prepare grading designs and possess general knowledge of site topography and interpolation of same.• Complete earthwork analysis (cut/fill takeoffs).• Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications• Technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter curriculum.• 5-8 years' experience using the latest AutoCAD software in the area of site development.• Land Development Design experience is a plus.• Knowledge of Civil 3D is a plus.• High School Diploma required. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.• Possess good working knowledge within CAD drawings as related to a variety of issues.• Ability to prioritize and multi-task with respect to projects, CAD standards, and deadlines, etc. on a daily basis.• Willingness to assume increased responsibilities.• Ability to work as a team player and interact well with others.• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.What We OfferWe strive to provide a great company culture consisting of a variety of team building events: trivia nights, softball and volleyball leagues, mini golf tournaments, BBQ's, happy hours, poker nights, catered weekly staff meetings, surfboard lending programs, and much more.We offer a competitive compensation plan including:• Health Insurance Benefits• Disability and 401k Retirement Accounts• Paid Vacation and Sick Time• Paid Holidays• Parental Leave• Tuition Reimbursement• Pathways for Career AdvancementThe salary range for this position is $30 - $40/hr based on experience.
