Join Our Team as a Senior Diesel Technician We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Permanent Full-Time Senior Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet. We are looking for experienced professionals who are ready to make a difference in a dynamic environment Compensation: $35.25 per hour. Earn bonuses for every new ASE certification obtained, with up to $700 available Quarterly bonuses of up to $500. Toolbox/tool allowance provided. Work Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, 4 days, 10-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM. At Ryder, we value our technicians and offer many benefits to ensure your satisfaction: Annual merit pay increases. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical certifications are a plus. Basic tools required. Experience in mechanical repair of gas or diesel engines. Basic diagnostics and repairs, including AC and electrical systems. A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience preferred. Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills required. Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire. Pass a drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check. Responsibilities: Conduct vehicle maintenance and repair duties. Perform standard and preventive maintenance. Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools. Work independently with minimal supervision. Provide mentorship to junior technicians. Ensure compliance with safety and corporate guidelines.
