Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor II (Auto Chemistry) to provide technical and operational supervision across multiple laboratory functions. This role oversees core laboratory testing, workflow efficiency, quality compliance, and teammate performance, ensuring accurate and timely results reporting.This is a licensed supervisory role reporting to the Laboratory Manager and may be assigned to evening or night shifts. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep chemistry lab expertise, and a commitment to quality and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise laboratory operations within Auto Chemistry and Core Lab functionsOversee workflow from sample processing through results reportingProvide day-to-day guidance and performance oversight for laboratory teammatesMonitor compliance with service guarantees, specimen quality standards, and turnaround timesEnsure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and confidentiality standardsMaintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and licensing requirementsSupport staffing, scheduling, and operational efficiency on assigned shiftsServe as a licensed technical supervisor for chemistry testingQualifications:6+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist and/or Laboratory SupervisorBachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related fieldFlorida Supervisor License in Chemistry (required)Professional certification from a recognized laboratory certifying agencyExamples: ASCP, AMTRed Flags (Do Not Submit)No Florida Chemistry Supervisor licenseLess than 6 years of relevant lab experienceNo professional lab certificationNon-clinical or research-only backgroundCompensation & BenefitsComprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision)401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO) and PTO cash-out optionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) and family support resourcesAccess to Headspace, backup child & elder careMaternity and paternity leaveProfessional development and leadership training via Star Learning platform
