Actalent is now hiring QA Lab Technician for a food science lab in Saginaw, TXJob DescriptionJoin our team in Fort Worth, TX as a QA Technician where you will be performing a variety of laboratory tests and other laboratory work to ensure the production of top quality and safe condiments including oil, butter, hot sauce, mayonnaise, and other specialty sauces. You will be responsible for auditing, verification, and follow-up on process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, FSMA plant inspections, and receiving. Additionally, you will conduct post-cleaning inspections, operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment, and handle data collection and transfer into computer systems.SkillsAssociates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology)Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - MUST be familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samplesExcellent computer and math skills - including Excel and Word knowledgeMinimum 1 year experience of QA/QC experience OR 1 year of work experience in a fast paced rolesWork EnvironmentThis technician will be supporting the 1st shift: M-F, 5:00AM - 1:30PM .This role requires sampling and taste testing products in a climate-controlled lab. The facility contains most common allergens such as salt, dairy, gluten, soy, eggs, fish, celery, and nitrates.
