A rapidly growing commercial construction firm in New Orleans, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee and deliver high-quality projects across the region. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a flagship job while coaching and supporting a talented field team, offering the opportunity to join a stable, close-knit company on an upward trajectory.What You'll Do as the Senior Superintendent:Lead all on-site construction activities for projects ranging from $3M to $10M, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherenceAct as the field leader and right hand to ownership, helping shape project strategies and mentoring junior superintendentsCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and site logistics for smooth project executionManage daily logs, punch lists, closeout processes, and weekly subcontractor meetingsInterpret drawings, layout dimensions, and elevations, and oversee all building processes from ground-up to historical renovationsCreate and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules, collaborating with the project manager to ensure proper sequencingPromote a strong safety culture on site and maintain compliance with all safety protocolsMust-Haves as the Senior Superintendent:Minimum 7 years' experience in commercial construction supervision, ideally in projects $3M–$15MStrong background in renovations, some ground -up builds and structural work (concrete and steel)Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and scopes of work with precisionProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling toolsProven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop field teamsHigh emotional intelligence and excellent relationship-building skills with owners, architects, and stakeholdersNice-to-Haves as the Senior Superintendent:Experience with Procore construction management softwareHistorical renovation project experienceBackground with larger general contractors seeking a transition to a more nimble, team-focused environmentSurvey layout skills and long-lead item coordination experienceOur Client Offers:Competitive base salary and bonus structureComprehensive benefits including 401(k) with match, health insurance, paid time off, and a company laptopAuto allowance and performance-based bonusesA supportive, small-team culture with less bureaucracy and long-term stabilitySignificant growth opportunities, including a path to General SuperintendentTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
