Position Highlights: Location: Denton, TX 76201 Eligible for a $3000 bonus Be a part of a supportive and collaborative team focused on student success Qualifications: Master's Degree in Psychology or a related field PhD preferred Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology Working towards Texas licensure as a Psychologist is acceptable Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Perform thorough individual psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with legal timelines. Observe students in both general and special education classrooms to gather necessary data. Stay informed about the latest research and technologies in individual evaluation relevant to special education eligibility. Consultation and Collaboration: Lead initiatives across the campus including Pre-Referral and ARD processes and maintaining confidentiality of student records. Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations for student placements. Conduct training and provide consultative services for teachers in both general and special education settings. Student Support and Intervention: Guide the development and monitoring of behavior improvement plans tailored to individual students. Offer direct services to students requiring psychological assistance as part of their IEP. Provide parents with progress reports regarding their child's IEP goals and objectives every six weeks.
