This is to establish a part-time faculty pool in the Continuing Education department for the noncredit Real Estate instructional program. Instructors are responsible for all aspects of live and/or online course delivery of their respective courses. They serve as subject matter experts who integrate principles, practices, and industry experience to provide exceptional learning engagement for Rio Hondo College students. Teaching areas may include California Real Estate Appraisal, Principles, Finance, Practices, and Property Taxation and Assessment.Essential DutiesKnowledge and AbilitiesMinimum Qualifications/Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree(s) or higher and two years of professional experience. AND/ORSpecifically named associate degree(s) in area of assignment and six years of professional experience. The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment. ANDDemonstrate a sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.EquivalenciesNoneForeign DegreesAny degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date.
