SummaryWe are currently seeking a Structural Drafter to join our growing team. This role is key in translating structural engineering concepts into precise, detailed drawings that guide construction. The ideal candidate is skilled in computer-aided design (CAD) and/or BIM software, detail-oriented, and experienced in structural drafting across a variety of building types.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDrawing & DraftingPrepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software, under the supervision of structural engineersDraft construction documents including foundations, framing, floor plans, sections, and detailsUpdate and revise drawings based on markups and design changes from engineers and project managers3D Modeling & CoordinationAssist with 3D modeling of structural systems for coordination and visualizationCollaborate with engineers, architects, and other drafters to support multidisciplinary coordinationQuality & DocumentationPerform quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and adherence to applicable codesMaintain organized documentation and version control of project drawingsQualifications & RequirementsEducationAssociate's degree or technical diploma in drafting, design technology, or a related fieldExperience2+ years of experience in structural drafting, preferably in an architectural or engineering firmExposure to projects in commercial, healthcare, residential, or institutional sectorsTechnical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; experience with BIM workflows is a plusFamiliarity with structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonryAbility to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and specificationsExperience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other coordination toolsKnowledge of local building codes and construction standardsSoft SkillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchingPaid vacation, sick leave, and holidaysProfessional development support
