Channel Islands Logistics is interviewing for a motivated Fleet Maintenance Supervisor also known as Shop Foreman in our Oxnard, Ca. facility. If you have experience with managing a shop that is responsible for repair and maintenance on diesel tractor-trailers, this job may be for you Duties and Responsibilities: The daily running and overseeing of the shop and shop personnel Maintain parts inventory, including procedure on parts consignment Completion of all work orders and all other computer & paperwork Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Vehicle maintenance & repair Create clear and specific processes and procedures for the shop Strong computer skills necessary Knowledge and Skills: 2-5 years mechanical experience necessary on diesel tractor trailers Reefer Trailer repair experience and certifications highly preferred Education and Work Experience: Class A CDL with preferred not necessary High School Diploma or GED required Two years of supervisory experience required Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
