Position Summary As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and safety of critical systems including HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscaping, and kitchen equipment. You will also help maintain emergency pull cord systems and undertake general maintenance projects as assigned. Your ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests from community directors and residents will ensure a comfortable living experience for everyone. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and complete essential maintenance tasks to uphold the community facilities. Perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, sustaining the grounds, repairing electrical systems, painting, plumbing, cleaning gutters, and HVAC maintenance. Work collaboratively with the Executive Director to identify and implement corrective measures for maintenance deficiencies noted during facility surveys by government agencies. Conduct routine inspections of life safety systems to ensure compliance and reliability. Coordinate maintenance and repairs in resident units, preparing them for new move-ins as necessary.
