Locum Tenens Opportunity for Board-Certified OBGYN Physician Our esteemed women's care practice, nestled near Littleton, NC, welcomes applications from skilled and board-certified OBGYN physicians interested in a rewarding locum tenens opportunity. Delve into the comprehensive details below: Assignment Overview: Coverage Schedule: 24-hour call coverage required, spanning two weekends a month (Friday Monday). Practice Setting: Exclusively inpatient care. Hospital Details: Embrace the collaborative atmosphere of a 114-bed facility, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing women's health. Patient Interaction: Maintain an average inpatient census of 2. Admit an average of 1 patient per day, with night admissions also averaging 1. Clinical Responsibilities: Focus solely on inpatient care with no ICU responsibilities. Locum tenens physicians will not be tasked with responding to codes. Support Network: Benefit from collaboration with the nearby James and Connie Maynard Childrens Hospital, including access to pediatric transport services. Certifications Required: Possess NRP Certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Maintain current ALSO Certification (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics). Demonstrate evidence of completing the AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years. EMR System: Navigate patient records seamlessly with EPIC, our advanced electronic medical records system. Additional Considerations: New providers will receive a comprehensive orientation the day preceding scheduled call to ensure a smooth integration into our dedicated team.
