If you have a stellar safety record and experience behind the wheel, Idaho Forest Group is eager to speak with you We are currently looking for a professional Class A CDL Truck Driver to transport residual products from our sawmills to customer locations. You'll thrive in this role if you: Expertly manage all DOT-required daily vehicle pre- and post-inspections. Operate a truck in line with DOT, state, and city regulations, as well as company policies. Understand and follow electronic hours of service/log procedures. Consistently adhere to safety rules and regulations. What We Offer You: Home daily Competitive compensation, with our drivers earning an average of $285/day (approximately $70,000/year). Receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments at 90 and 180 days of employment. Annual boot allowance To qualify, you will need: A minimum of 2 years of commercial truck driving experience. A valid Class A CDL. A valid US Passport for transportation into Canada. A current medical card. A solid understanding of DOT rules and regulations, including weight restrictions. Experience driving in challenging conditions (gravel, snow, and mud). A clean driving record with minimal points. Willingness to undergo a PSP verification. Before starting, Idaho Forest Group requires successful completion of various pre-employment screenings, which may include a physical examination, criminal background check, drug test, reference check, employment verification, driving history review (MVR), and education verification. The specifics of screening will depend on the position. Physical Requirements: Ability to move quickly and safely in various conditions, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain physical awareness. Tasks may include sitting and standing for long periods, reaching, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing and pulling, maintaining balance, bending, kneeling, walking varying distances, and climbing stairs. Must be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate noise, vibrations, and airborne particles (e.g., sawdust). Idaho Forest Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
