Work includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies and checking supply levels. Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies. Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters. Reports needs and concerns to Custodial Supervisor which may include submitting or recommending work orders. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Adheres to safe working practices and safety programs. Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures. Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements. May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. Basic understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Assist with event setups and other duties as directed. QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED Required. Experience: 2 years of custodial experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Possession of a valid Nevada driver's license Ability and clearance to drive company vehicles Ability to work varied shifts Ability to multi-task Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures Good customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer's expectations Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to use and experience with auto scrubbers Ability to use and experience with floor machines (buffers, KyVacs, etc.) Ability to use carpet machines Knowledge of custodial related chemicals and supplies Ability to climb ladders up to 8 ft. and feel comfortable with heights Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. regularly Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend, stoops, crouches, pushes, pulls, and reaches above shoulders in the performance of duties Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs
