The Lead Faculty will also be responsible for fostering a supportive and inclusive campus culture while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and FAA regulatory requirements. The position is an integral part of our student and staff success. The person selected must be able to multi-task, have strong coaching skills and have a willingness to help our faculty succeed in the classroom.Secondary responsibility is to instruct.*Required** FAA part 147/145 Experience* Aviation Maintenance A&P Certificate required* Experience in Academic leadership, administration, faculty development and support* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Knowledge of student development theories and practices* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in higher education/aviation administration* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills* Familiarity with classroom / schedule utilization/efficiency* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Commitment to the overall mission and goals of the institution* Proficient in using educational technology and software*Basic Job requirements*· Airframe & PowerPlant Certificate· Be able to pass a background check· Be able to follow school and FAA part 147 procedures and regulations· Supervise faculty and staff to ensure high standards of teaching and professionalismAbility to instruct and work with students/employees with varying backgrounds and ages· Instruct and control classes in a shop/lab, hangar, airport and classroom· Ensure that all staff and students consistently follow safety protocols, particularly regarding PPE usage in laboratory and workshop settings.· Be able to lift 50 pounds, work in and around aircraft in various positions*Salary & benefits** Starting pay commensurate with experience* Employer Paid Life Insurance* Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance* Voluntary Accident and Critical Illness and* Life and AD&D Insurance* Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)* 401 (k)* 401 (k) Match up to 3% after full year of service (subject to vesting requirements)* Paid LeaveNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. xhmxlyz The employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to Relocate:* Denton, TX 76207: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
