The Finance Manager must be motivated to drive productivity through effective and values-centered leadership. F & I personnel require strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees, and finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership.This individual must exhibit effective management skills and profile as a sales-driven, professional who has a proven profitability history.A day in the life.As the Finance Manager, you will be required to maintain the profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. You are required to understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect the department’s operations. You will maintain records and requirements of vendors to expedite each deal. You will act as a liaison between buyers and lenders to ensure all requirements are met in order to execute a swift transaction.
