As Director of Safety, you'll lead a team of safety professionals and shape the company's safety culture. You'll report directly to a senior executive and play a key role in strategic planning, compliance, and continuous improvement. Job Description The Director of Safety - Commercial Projects - Bethesda, MD will: Lead and mentor a safety team currently consisting of two Safety Managers and one Safety Engineer Develop and implement company-wide safety programs and training initiatives Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and reporting Represent safety leadership in executive meetings and strategic planning Support project teams across a range of new construction and interiors projects Champion a culture of safety across all levels of the organization MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
