This is an opportunity for a highly skilled professional to contribute to Kodak’s legacy of precision engineering in a world-class manufacturing environment.What You’ll Do• Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and EDM hole drilling machines to produce tight-tolerance, high-precision components.• Set up and operate precision film manufacturing equipment, ensuring accurate and consistent production processes.• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC machining centers, optimizing toolpaths for accuracy, cycle time, and finish quality.• Develop and refine CNC programs using Esprit CAM software for both CNC and EDM processes.• Assist with design modifications, tooling, and fixture development.• Perform precision grinding (surface, cylindrical, and form) and lapping operations to achieve mirror finishes and ultra-flat surfaces.• Manufacture precision film cutting tools made from tungsten carbide.• Program and operate Visual Measuring Machines (VMMs) and other advanced inspection tools to verify part accuracy and ensure quality standards.• Design and fabricate fixtures and tooling to support production and prototype machining.• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot, improve processes, and optimize efficiency.• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace following Lean Manufacturing and 5S best practices.What You’ll Bring• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Wire EDM, EDM hole drilling, CNC machining, grinding, and/or lapping.• Advanced proficiency with Esprit CAM software or similar for CNC and EDM programming.• Experience programming and operating Visual Measuring Machines (VMMs) for dimensional inspection.• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and tight-tolerance machining.• Expertise in selecting tools and machining parameters for a wide range of materials.• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.• Commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications:• Background in aerospace, medical device, or high-precision manufacturing industries.• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma process improvement methods.Want to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.Why You’ll Love Working at Kodak• Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.• Access to state-of-the-art EDM, CNC, grinding, and metrology technology.• Clean, climate-controlled, and collaborative environment.• Opportunities for technical growth and professional advancement.• Be part of Kodak’s long-standing tradition of engineering excellence and innovation. xhmxlyz If you take pride in precision and craftsmanship, and thrive in a high-accuracy manufacturing environment, join Kodak’s advanced manufacturing team and help us shape the future of precision engineering.
