The Position Wilson Elser's New Jersey office is currently seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance coverage group. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage matters Draft coverage opinion and coverage position letters Draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery in coverage litigation Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and State of New York 5+ years coverage litigation experience in New York, New Jersey and beyond Experience in areas of insurance coverage such as coverage opinions (CGL, Excess, Professional Liability, D & O and property) Experience in both third-party and first-party claims Coverage analysis and writing experience. Superior analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
