Job Description All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Heavy Civil Superintendent Our client in St Louis is an industry leader in Highway and Civil Construction and is currently looking for a Seasoned Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Perform Water, Industrial, Earthmoving, & Transportation projects Execute building layout and control tasks as required. Maintain Contract Documents: Assist in maintaining contract documents and electronic web-based records for field operations. Prepare Specifications and Documents: Aid in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. Design Calculations and Plans: Establish design calculations and plans in accordance with guidelines, code requirements, and all applicable regulations. Review and Coordination: Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation. Project As-Builts: Assist in the preparation of project as-built requirements. Daily Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers to ensure project alignment. Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early and create action steps to mitigate them. Minimum Background Requirements: 3+ years of experience in site work, concrete structure, or site development. Proficient in using engineering software & tools - B2W, Primavera P6, Viewpoint, MS Office. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
