You will inherit a team of four estimators (two junior and two senior) and be responsible for building scalable processes, establishing SOPs, and expanding the team to 6–8 estimators. Your leadership will directly support increased bid capacity and long-term growth. xhmxlyz This role is ideal for someone who wants to lead from the front, mentor others, and directly influence the trajectory of a growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all estimating activities for retail construction projectsPerform and review hard bids in a fast-paced retail environmentDevelop and implement estimating SOPs, workflows, and best practicesMentor, manage, and grow the estimating teamPartner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiativesCollaborate with operations, project management, and field teamsEvaluate pricing strategies, risk, and opportunity selectionSupport pursuits targeting $100M+ in annual work volumeWhat We’re Looking For12+ years of estimating experience in commercial constructionStrong hard-bid experience is requiredExperience with ground-up construction (fit-out experience a plus)Deep understanding of retail construction, including aggressive schedules and hard deadlinesExperience working with landlords; healthcare experience is a plusPrior people leadership or mentoring experience preferredStrategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on estimating and leadership
