Come see for yourselfIn this role, you will work under the general supervisor of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include:Applying ionizing radiation according to MD's prescription (3D,IMRT,SBRT,SRS,HDR)Patient scheduling and appointmentsPerforming dose calculationsTreatment data entry Working with physicians, physicists and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CT's May be hired as Radiation Therapist if you possess less than 5 years of experience.Salary Range Senior Radiation Therapist: $69.34 - $91.48 HourlySalary Range Radiation Therapist: $64.68 - $85.34 HourlyQualificationsRequired:ARRT LicenseDo not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.CRT LicenseBLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross Skill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may existTruebeam, Tomotherapy, Novalis, CT and MR guided RT experienceAbility to lift cerrobend blocks weighing up to 35 pounds.Knowledge of basic physics as applicable to Radiation Therapy.Ability to use an electronic calculator to perform dose calculations.Skill in communicating various technical aspects of Radiation Therapy at a level understood by patients.Skill in recognizing and reporting any adverse patient therapy reactions.Knowledge of the principles and applications of thermo-luminescent dosimeters.Skill in reading documents written with medical terminology and ability to read and implement computer-generated physics treatment plans.Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.Working knowledge of University procedures regarding isolation of immuno-suppressed patients. xhmxlyz Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians and physicists.Preferred:Aria and Epic experience – preferred5 or more years radiation therapy experience
