This role combines technical design expertise with project management responsibilities, ensuring high-quality and coordinated deliverables for building systems projects.Role OverviewManage electrical engineering projects through all phases — programming, schematic design, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.Design and oversee systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage communications.Work directly with clients, architects, and other consultants to develop project scope, budgets, and schedules.Produce and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Provide construction-phase support including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.Support business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and contributing to presentations for new opportunities.Preferred Project Experience:Higher education, K-12, healthcare, commercial office, retail, hospitality, and multi-family residential projects.Qualifications:Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina, or ability to obtain licensure within the state.Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD; proficiency in lighting design software as wellFamiliarity with SKM or similar power distribution modeling tools preferred.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and project teams.Why This Role?Opportunity to manage a wide variety of building projects that make an impact on the community.Blend of leadership, client interaction, and hands-on design work.Career growth in a stable and well-respected engineering practice.Interested in hearing more?
