Kids just think it's cool'Are you passionate about Video Games, Coding, Python, Roblox™, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™ or STEM?We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs in Central & Northern NJ. Lead instructors guide students through our world class project based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design, robotics and moreSeasonal (8-16 weeks), with options to continue into additional seasonsGet in-room technology experience with excited studentsPAID trainingNo formal experience required, but teaching experience in some capacity and strong tech skills highly preferredRequirementsExperience with technology or teaching preferredReliable transportation to locations such as East Brunswick, Piscataway, Edison, Paramus, and Carteret. More locations are added throughout the season.Must be available to teach from 2:00 - 5:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Additional opportunities available throughout the season)Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and have experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technologyExperience with children in an educational setting preferred but not requiredComfortable working with teacher to student ratios of 12/1Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streamingPreference will be given to those who are most flexible on their location and available for multiple sites.For more information see our website: Details:This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position (5-10 hours per week)Lead Instructor ranging from $25-$40 hourlyPaid Training, toll reimbursementOpportunities for summer employment of 35-40 hours per week in our camps after completing a school year session.K-12 teachers, college seniors, and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply.
