Position Overview: As an Attorney, you'll be a crucial player in safeguarding policyholders' interests. This role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse legal matters, from strategic advising to courtroom advocacy. Whether you are at the heart of negotiations or leading litigation efforts, you will contribute to a supportive environment where your skills and dedication will flourish. What You'll Do: Client Representation: Advocate vigorously for policyholders in coverage disputes, claim denials, and bad faith claims, striving for favorable outcomes. Thorough Documentation: Review and analyze insurance policies, claims, and correspondence to build robust cases and identify critical issues. Case Management: Oversee a varied caseload, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and maintaining meticulous case files. Negotiation Skills: Leverage your negotiation abilities to secure advantageous settlements with insurance carriers and other parties. Litigation Excellence: Represent clients in court, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, showcasing your persuasive advocacy. Collaboration: Work alongside a talented team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure seamless case management and optimal results. Requirements: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Must hold a valid license to practice law and be in good standing with the bar association. Proven litigation experience (first-party property insurance experience preferred). Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
