Support Safe and Efficient Transportation Operations.If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Goodwill Southern California is seeking a Shift Lead – Fleet to support daily transportation operations and provide functional leadership to Class A and bobtail drivers. This working lead helps ensure routes are completed safely, on time, and in alignment with service standards.What You’ll DoProvide daily direction to Class A and bobtail drivers to ensure route completion and safety compliance.Lead shift start-up meetings, communicate goals, and support route coordination.Assist with loading/unloading trailers and securing freight.Monitor workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety practices.Train drivers on safety, customer service, and operational standards.Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment; conduct safety inspections.Drive a bobtail truck when coverage is needed.Maintain accurate records and support documentation for deliveries and inspections.What You Bring2+ years of transportation or warehouse experience; lead experience preferred.Forklift certification required.High school diploma or GED required.Experience operating bobtail trucks; knowledge of Class A operations helpful.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts.Valid CA driver’s license and required insurance.Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.Commitment to safety and Goodwill’s RISE Values. xhmxlyz Grow your leadership skills while supporting safe and reliable fleet operations.
