My client is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site operations for large-scale commercial, institutional, and government construction projects. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with a strong command of field coordination, safety compliance, and schedule management in technically demanding environments.Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.Manage subcontractors and field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule adherence.Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and site cleanliness.Conduct regular inspections and ensure all work meets jurisdictional and contractual requirements.Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and progress tracking.Lead site meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts.Mentor and supervise Assistant Superintendents and field staff.Support commissioning, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.Qualifications:7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial, institutional, or government construction.Proven ability to manage complex job sites with multiple trades and technical requirements.Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and quality control practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. xhmxlyz Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
