With almost 50 years of experience and in constant growth around the World, and growing so far in in US, as well. are looking for a IT Specialist – Infrastructure & OT Support to join our team and work on-site at one of our clients in the United States.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.This role is critical to ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of IT and OT infrastructure across multiple industrial sites (Lexington, Clay City, and Jeffersonville). You will combine hands-on technical support with project coordination, playing a key role in maintaining the stability of production and office systems, while ensuring alignment with corporate IT policies.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across multiple locations.Ensure uptime for critical IT systems (servers, networks, applications) to support uninterrupted operations.Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and specialized OT systems (e.g., kiln & boiler control PCs, tag printers, moisture meters, Talley Express).Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Active Directory environments.Monitor network and server performance, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain documentation.Oversee security compliance, including updates, patches, and local audits.Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs, network improvements, and system integrations.Support IT asset management, software licensing, and cost optimization initiatives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in IT support or analyst roles.Hands-on experience with OT (Operational Technology), ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and business applications (ERP, CAD, QuickBooks).Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and ITIL-based service management.Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver’s license and availability to travel between nearby sites.On-site availability Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional on-call duties.Preferred QualificationsCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL, or Azure Fundamentals.Experience with ERP implementation or IT migration projects.Knowledge of Agile or PMP/CAPM project management frameworks.Why Join Sonda? xhmxlyz At Sonda, you’ll be part of a collaborative, innovative, and multicultural environment, working on impactful projects that drive real business value for our clients.
