With accessible amenities and a blend of urban convenience and Southern charm, Monroe provides a comfortable living environment for healthcare professionals relocating or traveling for assignments.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify imaging orders and clarify discrepancies with radiologists or ordering providers. Prepare and educate patients on MRI procedures, ensuring proper identification using two distinct identifiers. Conduct comprehensive patient interviews to obtain relevant medical history, reviewing electronic medical records as needed. Administer intravenous contrast agents following established departmental protocols. Acquire high-quality MRI images, evaluating technical standards and consulting radiologists when necessary. Perform basic patient care activities and coordinate with nursing personnel on patient status changes. Comply with infection control, radiation safety, and MRI safety procedures to protect patients, self, and staff. Operate radiology systems (Epic Radiant and Philips iSite PACS) to document and manage imaging orders and results. Assist anesthesia and other medical personnel when imaging exams require collaborative effort. Qualifications / Desired ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience; first-time travelers are welcome. Valid ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification and ARRT(MR) or ARMRI credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and infection control protocols. Schedule & Work EnvironmentNo on-call duties; holiday coverage expected approximately 75% of holidays. Administrative and departmental orientation provided to support a smooth transition.
