This contract position focuses on supporting students with individualized education plans (IEPs) requiring occupational therapy, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on their academic and personal development throughout the school year.
Key responsibilities
include:Delivering occupational therapy services as outlined in students IEPsProviding compensatory services totaling approximately 450 minutes initially for one student, with ongoing monthly services of 90 minutesServing a newly enrolled student requiring 60 minutes of therapy per monthCollaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective therapy plansMonitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches as neededDesired qualifications and experience:Valid occupational therapy licensure appropriate for school-based practiceExperience providing occupational therapy services to children in a school environmentAbility to manage time effectively, including delivering compensatory and regular therapy minutesStrong communication skills for coordination with educators, families, and other team membersCommitment to supporting student growth and maximizing functional outcomesThis contract role offers a unique chance to contribute to students success within the school year timeline. Compensation
