The Revenue Analytics team is one functional area, responsible for defining and owning the metrics for scaling our Sales teams and forecasting our performance against company plan.Gusto is looking for a Revenue Analytics Lead to optimize our analytics, strategy, and insight generation for our Expansion route to market. Gusto is highly invested in acquiring customers through its B2B capabilities and optimizing its sales motions to ensure the optimal customer experience. In this role, your primary stakeholders will range from Revenue Operations to Sales Leadership and frontline sales. The Analyst will utilize data to drive actionable insights that enhance sales productivity, customer experience, and Gusto’s overall acquisition targets.This role will report to the Head of Expansion analytics, and partner closely with the Sales Teams, Revenue Operations, Data Science, and Product teams.Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:Establish relationships with stakeholders to determine business needs, scoping and delivering solutions through data productsBuild and maintain sales forecasts, along with establishing KPIs to measure business health and efficiencyUtilize data to drive actionable insights that enhance the productivity of Gusto’s sales teams, including visibility into quota setting and attainment, incrementality of sales touchpoints, and channel penetrationDeliver against a long-term roadmap for strategic success in Gusto’s Direct acquisition effortsServe as key owner of insights and thought partner to sales leaders across the organizationHere’s what we’re looking for:Education or work experience in an analytical discipline, or a related technical field5+ years of experience in an analytics role with exposure to business/finance stakeholdersHigh aptitude and enthusiasm for complex business problems, utilizing modeling and analysis, through tools such as Excel/GSuiteExperience with data visualization technologies, e.g., Tableau, Looker, RedashProactive and autonomous problem-solver, able to work independently maintaining attention to detail. Able to manage ambiguity, resource dependencies and timelines to optimal outcomesStrong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to distill technical or complex matters into clear and concise explanations to senior leaders and business stakeholdersOur cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $157,960 - $193,500 in San Francisco and New York, and $129,975 - $159,000 in Denver and most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
