This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on delivering tailored therapy services that enhance student learning and participation in their educational environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized therapy plans.Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students to improve their functional abilities and facilitate classroom participation.Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reports.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute professional insights and goals related to occupational therapy.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in Florida.Proven experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.Strong knowledge of educational accommodations and therapy interventions applicable to school environments.Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Location:Avon Park, Florida.Duration:Contract position for the current school year.This role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact student success through therapeutic support within the educational system. xhmxlyz Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to contribute expertise to this K-12 school community.
