This role is ideal for attorneys eager to work at the intersection of technology, venture capital, and private equity, advising leading fund sponsors on structuring, formation, and operations. You will gain hands‑on experience in a broad range of sophisticated matters, including financings, acquisitions, and the creation of innovative alternative investment structures.Candidate ProfileJDfrom atop‑tier law schoolwith an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing3–5+ years of substantive experience in private investment funds or related transactional practiceProven ability to manage key workstreams in fund formation, structuring, and operationsDemonstrated experience representing venture capital and private equity sponsors in U.S. and international transactionsPrior experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated law firm is strongly preferredSoft Skills: Excellent legal writing, communication, analytical, and organizational skills, and a strong ability towork both independently and as part of a teamKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent domestic and international private equity and venture capital fund sponsors in fund formation, structuring, and ongoing operationsAdvise clients on fund governance, management, and compliance mattersHandle complex transactions, including financings, acquisitions, and formation of alternative investment vehiclesCollaborate with partners and cross‑practice teams on innovative deal structures and strategic solutionsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to institutional investors and fund managersTake on leadership responsibilities within deal teams, while mentoring junior associatesWhy Join Us?Step into a market‑leading Private Investment Funds practice at one of the world’s most dynamic law firms.
