We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor for a top fashion client at their NYC offices The Video Editor will hold split duties between supporting Art Directors in concepting and creative production, across all channels of the brand, as well as supporting Art Directors in daily tasks that come up. Candidate should be excited about the brand, have a positive attitude, and excited to learn. Organization and ability to prioritize are critical and must show initiative and ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines.If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information. Responsibilities: Editing in a forward-thinking lens and creating campaigns for the upcoming fashion season. Create cut downs and edits on campaign videos for paid media, stores and social media. Support in executing comps/ideas/mocks for weekly and/or leadership presentations. Creative production responsibilities include bringing pitched concepts to life and/or helping execute already concepted campaigns under the supervision of the Art Director (whether that is in the form of social, email, or site content). Creative production is fast-paced and executes in a daily/weekly timeline for the current fashion season. Organize media assets and back up files Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience 4+ years of relevant experience Previous fashion experience preferred Complete fluency and proficiency in the use of a Mac and Adobe Suite programs. STRONG Premiere Pro and After Effects skills required. Strong creative production, organization, and design skills Must be highly organized Self-motivated and independent thinker Passionate Concepter and wanting to push the brand to new limits Up to date on latest trends in Fashion, especially social trends Strong communication skills Quick thinker and problem solver Team player If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
